The History of Mother's Day Flowers

The second Sunday of May is a special day for Mother's. This is the day that many people honour the Mother's. After all of the hard work they have done birthing and raising children, what better way to celebrate than with their own special day. Mother's Day is so special for the women who have been the backbone of families around the world to be recognized and congratulated.

How did Mother's Day flowers come about? Let us start with the Mother's Day honoured day itself. A lady named Anna Jarvis asked the church that her Mother attended if they would set aside a special day in honour of Mother's after her Mother passed away. It was set for the second Sunday of May. This idea spread like wild flowers.

Mother's Day flowers are very sentimental. They bring a special touch like no other flowers do. Sending flowers will make there day! A lovely bouquet or mixed spring flowers will honour your Mother and show how much you care.
